Heels rally past Devils

UNDATED (AP) - Ninth-ranked Duke has followed Saturday's stunning loss to St. John's by dropping a game against its arch-rival.

Joel Berry II scored 21 points and No. 21 North Carolina rallied from 12 down in the first half to beat the Blue Devils, 82-78. Kenny Williams drained six 3-pointers and matched his career high with 20 points for the 18-7 Tar Heels.

Cameron Johnson added 18 points and 13 rebounds for North Carolina, which took control by opening the second half with a 16-2 run to go ahead by 10.

Gary Trent Jr. scored a team-high 16 points for the Blue Devils.

 In other top-25 finals:
  • Jock Landale provided 21 points and Jordan Ford added 20 with nine rebounds as 11th-ranked Saint Mary's blew out Loyola Marymount, 83-62. Emmett Naar became the Gaels' all-time assists leader by getting 12 more, topping the mark held by Matthew Dellavedova.

  • Killian Tillie had 21 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and made a key tip-in with 1:39 remaining to carry No. 12 Gonzaga past Pacific, 71-61. Johnathan Williams added 10 points and 13 rebounds in the Bulldogs' 22nd win of the season and sixth in a row.

  • Aaron Holliday dropped in 17 points and UCLA shot 11-for-24 from 3-point range in an 82-74 victory at No. 13 Arizona. Gyorgy Golomon added a career-high 16 points as the Bruins moved to 17-7 overall and 8-4 in the Pac-12.

  • No. 16 Clemson blew out Pittsburgh 72-48 as Gabe DeVoe shot 7-for-11 from 3-point range while matching his career high with 25 points. Elijah Thomas had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the Tigers' 20th victory.
