The Salem Lady Wildcats finished 2-3 at the Mattoon Tournament falling to Sullivan in overtime in the 5th place game. The Lady Cats learned some hard lessons over the break and head coach Megan Kessler will have a few more days to prepare before the Lady Wildcats head to Teutopolis on Thursday in a game you can hear on WJBD. Salem is 9-8 on the season and will also play host to Olney on Saturday afternoon.

Tonight in girls basketball, Nashville is at Carbondale, Mt Vernon heads to Triad, Wesclin is at Greenville and the Midland Trail Conference Tournament gets underway as well.
