The Fall Sports Awards Night Was Held This Week At SCHS

In Football Awards Kaden Wayer was MVP, Eric Brubaker Best Defensive, Nate Roth Best Offensive, Justin Schuette Best Specialty Player, Austyn Dodson Most Valuable Lineman and Carter Hood Most Valuable Scout Team.

In volleyball, Kasey Sager was honored for being named All-Conference. She was also named Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player. Mara Bookhout was Most Improved and Olivia Chaplin Best Defensive Player.

In Girls Tennis, Kaitlin Nix was MVP, Katelyn Wilson Most Improved along with Sonya Jha.

In Soccer, Lucas Morris was MVP and Best Defensive Improvement, Isaac Richards Most Improved and Hustle Award, Evan Wilzbach was Role Model Award Winner, Kyle Duncan the Most Improved Goalie, Griffin Snodsmith Most Improved Midfielder and Jared Beasley Most Fun Player.

In Cross Country, boys MVP was Hayden Wimberly and Dawson Webster was Most Improved. They were both honored for being All Cahokia Conference as well. Chloee Phillips was the girls MVP and Maddie Quandt Most Improved. Both of them also made All Conference this season.

Tina Mehmedi and Captain Star received 4th Varsity Letter cheer awards.

In girls golf, Cora Cantrell was MVP and Ryley Hammond Most Improved.

In boys golf, Max Phillips was MVP, All Conference, All Regional and State Qualifier while Jake Hope was Most Improved.
