The Salem Wildcats will look to get over .500 and win their 7th straight game when they travel to state ranked Effingham tonight for an Apollo contest against the Hearts. Salem currently sits 3rd in the Apollo at 4-4 behind 2nd place Mt Zion and undefeated Effingham.

The Wildcats are coming off a win at Olney on Tuesday night in a game that saw them miss their coach as Andy Fehrenbacher was home with the flu. Salem also had several players hampered either with the flu or recovering from having been sick.

Toby Gullion will have the call around 7:45 tonight on 100.1 FM and WJBDradio.com.

Last night, Christ Our Rock defeated Odin 69-43.

Also tonight:

  • Mt Vernon at Centralia
  • Vandalia at Carlinville
  • Patoka at Dieterich
  • DuQuoin at Nashville
  • Carlyle at Red Bud
  • Wayne City at Waltonville
  • Odin at Grayville
  • Woodlawn at Clay City
