  • The South Central Cougars dropped their makeup game with Effingham at Lions Field 10-3. Effingham jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the 2nd inning. South Central tied the game with 3 of their own in the fifth, but the Hearts answered with 7 runs in their half of the sixth to win the game.

  • The Salem Lady Wildcats were forced to forfeit its game at the Centralia Annies Invitational to Herrin so they could make up a conference game against Charleston. The Lady Trojans came away with a 7-0 victory after leading 2-0 at halftime, but 5 goals in 20 minutes to start the 2nd half put the game away.
