A 55-year-old Centralia man has pleaded guilty to aggravated battery to a Lifestar Ambulance Service EMT.

Randy Caswell of South Lincoln was placed on two years conditional discharge, given credit for time served, and ordered to pay court costs.

Centralia Police say Caswell was taken to St. Mary's Hospital by Lifestar Ambulance after complaining of shortness of breath. He's accused of becoming agitated and striking the EMT first in the arm and later in the stomach as he was being moved from the ambulance into the emergency room.
