First Baby of New Year at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese Is Born to a Salem Couple

The first baby of the New Year at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese was born to a Salem couple.

Esme Marie Findley was born at 11:07 New Year's morning weighing six pounds and 19.5 inches long. Her proud parents are Curtis and Ashley Findley of Salem. She is also welcomed by her four older brothers and her grandparents, Rusty and Jana Powless, and Roger and Laura Findley.

St. Joseph's Women and Infants Center presented her parents with a gift basket of baby items along with a gift card from the Breese Lions Club, a onesie, gift card and soft cooler from Dairy King, and a gift card from Popeye's Chop House. St. Joseph's Auxiliary also donated a handmade blanket, bonnet and booties.
