Three Injured in Wednesday Morning Centralia Crash

Rear End Crash Occurred on East Calumet Near Lincoln Street

Centralia Police say three people were injured in a two-car crash on Calumet near the Lincoln Street intersection Wednesday morning.

Police report 37-year-old Michael Knutt of South Perrine in Centralia was stopped in traffic at the stop sign on Calumet when his car was hit in the rear by a car driven by 22-year-old Blake Storey of Terry Street in Centralia.

Knutt and two passengers, 16-year-old Cherish Webster of Number One Hickory Meadows in Centralia and 16-year-old McKinley Miller of Moonglow Road in Centralia, were all taken to SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

Storey escaped injury. He was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

The crash occurred at 7:54 Wednesday morning.
