Wamac Man Arrested for Aggravated Domestic Battery and Interfering with Reporting a Domestic Battery

Wamac Police have arrested a 26-year-old Wamac man for aggravated domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery. Cameron Shipp of Jana Drive is accused of choking a woman of the same address and breaking her cell phone. The victim was able to call police from the Casey's Store in Wamac. Shipp was still at the home when police arrived and took him into custody.

22-year-old Nickolas Arnold of South 23rd in Mt. Vernon was arrested on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear or pay on a domestic battery conviction. Bond is set at $5,000.

19-year-old Cameron Bolar of Kent Street in Centralia posted $250 bond and was released on a warrant charging failure to appear for driving with a suspended license.

20-year-old Deven Toennies of South Elm in Centralia posted $150 bond and was released for driving with a suspended or revoked license.
