Arrests Made for Felony Theft and Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer

A 33-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for allegedly felony theft and aggravated unlawful use of weapons. Joshua Lyons of Patterson Street was arrested after completing a construction job and allegedly taking five boxes of left over brick with him that were purchased by the person who hired him. When confronted, Lyons allegedly refused to return the bricks. Police were called and Lyons was taken into custody. The weapons charge was added after a pair of brass knuckles were allegedly found in one of his pockets.

28-year-old Zachary Konhorst of Deanna Drive in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for domestic battery, motor vehicle theft, resisting a peace officer, and aggravated battery to a police officer. No other details are currently available.

28-year-old Dustin Melton of South Franklin in Wamac was arrested by Wamac Police on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant for domestic battery. Bond on the warrant is set at $5,000.
