SAN JOSE, CA. - The Blues continue their three-game road trip tomorrow night against the Sharks in San Jose.
The Blues gave up three third period goals, including two empty-netters in the final minute, to drop a 5-2 decision to the Blue Jackets Monday in Columbus. St. Louis has lost two straight and remains in last place in the Central Division with 25 points at 10-10-and-5. The Blues are five back of fourth-place Detroit.
The Sharks are 18-6-and-4 and lead the NHL with 40 points.
Meanwhile, the Blues have returned defenseman Jonas Junland to Peoria of the AHL. Junland played in Monday's loss at Columbus to fill in for the injured Carlo Colaiacovo, who missed the game with a foot injury.

Hawks win a marathon...Leafs get a scar in win over Habs.
UNDATED - It took 65 minutes of hockey and 11 shootout rounds before Chicago's Joel Quenneville picked up his 500th NHL coaching victory Tuesday night.
The Blackhawks scored three times on special teams before Bretn Seabrook tallied in the 11th shootout round to complete a 4-3 win over Columbus. Kris Versteeg lit the lamp with a short-handed tally before Jonathan Toews and Patrick Sharp scored with the man advantage.
Cristobal Huet turned back 10 shots in the shootout to help Quenneville become the 14th NHL coach to reach 500 wins.
- Dany Heatley set up two goals against his old team to help San Jose knock off Ottawa 5-2. Joe Thornton also had two assists and Patrick Marleau scored twice as the Sharks moved five points ahead of Calgary and Chicago for the Western Conference lead.
- Los Angeles pulled out a 4-3 win against Anaheim on Brad Richardson's goal with 2:20 remaining. Ducks forward Corey Perry had a goal and an assist to extend his point streak to 19 games, tied for the longest by an NHL player since Paul Stastny's 20-game run in 2006-07.
- Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke says he expects goalie Jonas Gustavsson to be fine after being taken to the hospital after one period of a 3-0 win at Montreal. Gustavsson had an elevated heart rate when he was hospitalized as a precaution. He made eight saves before Joey McDonald completed the shutout.

League MVP Suspended.
ARLINGTON, Va. - Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin has received a two-game suspension from the NHL. It's punishment for his knee-to-knee hit on Tim Gleason in Monday's 3-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Ovechkin hurt his right knee in the collision, causing him to miss the last 2.5 periods of the game. He said Tuesday the injury is "not that serious."
- The Bruins have signed forward Marc Savard to a seven-year contract extension that would keep him in Boston through the 2017 season. Savard has paced the Bruins in scoring the last three seasons and has twice finished among the NHL's top 10 in points.
