UNDATED - The New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts kept their prefect seasons intact Sunday whiule the Minnesota Vikings absorbed their first loss.
NO 46 Miami 34: The Saints scored the final 22 points of a 46-34 comeback at Miami, sealing the victory when Tracy Porter returned an interception 54 yards for a touchdown. Drew Brees burst into the end zone from two yards out to put the Saints ahead 37-34 midway through the final period.
Brees passed for 298 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions for the 6-0 Saints, who join the AFC's Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos as the only unbeaten teams.
Indy 42 St. Louis 6: Peyton Manning failed to set a league record with a sixth straight 300-yard passing game, but he still helped the Colts improve to 6-0. Manning completed 23 of 34 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns before heading to the bench as Indianapolis rolled over the still-winless Rams 42-6 in St. Louis.
It was the Colts' 15th straight regular-season victory and a franchise record eighth straighrt road win.
Pitt 27 Minn 17: The Vikings fell from the unbeaten ranks with a 27-17 loss at Pittsburgh. LaMarr Woodley returned Brett Favre's fumble 77 yards for a touchdown and Keyaron Fox ran back an interception 82 yards for a TD. Both turnovers came in the final 6 1-2 mintues.
Two goal-line stands helped turned the anticipated quarterback showdown between Favre and Ben Roethlisberger into a defensive dual.
Ariz 27 NYG 17: Arizona grabbed the NFC West lead while sending the Giants to their second straight loss since a 5-0 start. Jason Wright and Tim Hightower scored third-quarter touchdowns that put the Cardinals ahead 24-14 in a 24-17 win over the Giants. Kurt Warner racked up 231 pasing yards as the Cards won for only the third time in 18 tries at Giants Stadium, which will close after the season.
New York quarterback Eli Manning completed only 19 of his 37 passes for 243 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions.
NE 35 TB 7: A trans-Atlantic trip didn't slow down the Patriots, who jetted across the pond to get their first road win of the season.
Coming off a 59-0 rout of Tennessee in Week 6, New England got three TD passes and more than 300 yards from the right arm of Tom Brady en route to a 35-7 beat-down of the Buccaneers in London's Wembley Stadium.
Dallas 37 Atlanta 31: The combination of Tony Romo and MIles Austin starred in the Dallas Cowboys' 37-21 win against Atlanta, connectin on touchdown passes of 59 and 22 yards. Romo was 21 of 29 for 311 yards and three touchdowns without an interception.
GB 31 Cleveland 3: Green Bay played a "trap game" in Cleveland and responded with a 31-3 victory over the Browns. Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and Ryan Grant rushed for 148 yards to help the Packers get to 4-2 on the year.
The Browns are 1-6 and have scored just four offensive touchdowns and 72 points all season.
Cinc 45 Chicago 10: Cedric Benson picked apart his former team while Cincinnati was crushing the visiting Chicago Bears 45-10. Jones ran for a career-high 189 yards and a touchdown to help the Bengals improve to 5-2 for the first time in four years.
Carson Palmer was outstanding all game, throwing four of his five touchdown passes by halftime and completing 20 of 24 passes for 233 yards.
SD 37 KC 7: Kansas City failed to capitalize on momentum from last week's first win of the season and got blwon out by visiting San Diego 37-7.
Philip Rivers was 18 for 30 for 268 yards and three TDs and LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 71 yards in helping the Chargers even their record at 3-3.
Houston 24 SF 21: Houston built up a 21-0 halftime lead and then hung on to defeat visiting San Francisco 24-21. Steve Slaton scored two touchdowns for the winners, who improve to 4-3 with their first two-game winning streak of the season.
The Texans withstood a rally led by backup quarterback Alex Smith, who thre three TDs to Vernon Davis to close the gap.
NYJ 38 Oak 0: New York Jets rookies Mark Sanchez and Shonn Greene were instrumental in a 38-0 shutout of the Raiders in Oakland.
Sanchez shook off his worst start of the season by throwing for a touchdown and running for another. He finished with 143 passing yards and no interceptions after being picked off five times in last Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to Buffalo.
Greene ran for 144 yards and two TDs as the Jets halted a three-game skid and became the fourth team in five weeks to beat the Raiders by at least 20 points.
But the Jets also lost running back Leon Washington to a broken right leg that required immediate surgery. Teammates said the bone broke through the skin and was visible on the field.
Buf 20 Car 9: Buffalo picked up its second straight win, beating Carolina 20-9 despite being outgained 425 yards to 167. Jarius Byrd had two interceptions that set up touchdowns by Marshawn Lynch and Lee Evans. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 123 yards and had no turnovers in his first NFL start for the 3-4 Bills, who intercepted Jake Delhomme three times.
Philadelphia visits Washington tonight in Monday Night Football.
