A Centralia was man charged with resisting a peace officer in Marion County Court Thursday.
46 year-old Jessie A. Stroud of was charged with misdemeanor and was released on three-thousand dollars personal recognizance bond. A council appointment will be held on January 1st. Centralia Police say Stroud attempted to push 55-year-old Glenda Feasel as they were investigating an alleged domestic dispute between the two. The arrest came after Stroud refused to stay by the squad car as ordered and then pulled away as police attempted to handcuff him. OC spray eventually had to be applied before Stroud was taken into custody.
Meanwhile, several made plea agreements.
37 year-old Stacey Casner of Centralia plead guilty to resisting a peace officer following an incident at the Home Motel in December 2008. She was ordered to pay 200 dollars, court costs and given credit for two days served in jail. A charge of disorderly conduct was dropped.
55 year-old Donald Poole of Centralia plead guilty to domestic battery after hitting Cheryl Tabor in the face with his hand in June. He was sentenced to one year probation, ordered to pay 100 dollars, court costs, undergo substance abuse treatment and evaluation, abstain from drugs and alcohol with testing, have no contact with the victim and fined 400 dollars. He was also credited with a week in jail.
29 year-old David Wade of Salem plead guilty to possession of the controlled substance Alprazolam. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections and ordered to pay court costs. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannbis were dropped.
