The Marion County Sheriff's Department is still trying to locate the driver of a motorcycle that crashed on the Walnut Hill Road east of Walnut Hill early Sunday morning. Deputies say the cycle apparently missed a curve and ran off the road into a ditch. They were concerned because the crash appeared serious enough to result in injuries.
A 30-year-old rural Edgewood woman is being held in the Marion County Jail on multiple charges following an early Sunday morning traffic stop. Deputies arrested Misty Depoister on an outstanding Clay County warrant, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug equipment and possession of cannabis.
21-year-old Andrew Howell of Salem Mobile Home Park is being held in lieu of 15-hundred dollars bond for failure to appear on an illegal consumption of liquor.
Two people are free on bond following separate arrests for disorderly conduct. 60-year-old Antonio Gonzales of Hester Street in Wamac was arrested by Wamac Police after allegedly cursing and threatening his neighbor. 19-year-old Michael Hunt of South Pearl in Sandoval was arrested by sheriff's deputies for disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing an egg and yelling outside the William Price home on Old U.S. 51 in Sandoval.
18-year-old Melissa Jean Morton of East Third in Kinmundy posted bond on an outstanding Fayette County traffic warrant and was released.
