Bond has been set at 100-thousand dollars for a 38-year-old Salem man formally charged in Marion County Court today for aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery. 

Ronald Sands of South Marion is accused in both charges of repeatedly striking Grace Kline on her head and body with a hammer.  Salem Police say Kline received hospital treatment for her injuries.  Public Defender Erica Sanders was appointed to represent Sands.  If released on bond, Sands was ordered to have no contact with Kline.
