Wizards Nearing Deal with John Wall
(LAS VEGAS) -- The Washington Wizards are close to a deal with point guard John Wall, reports ESPN NBA insider Marc Stein.
The Wizards and Wall are working on a five-year contract extension worth close to $80 million, according to league sources.
ESPN.com reports that both sides are shooting for Aug. 1 for the deal to be official.
Wall missed half of the 2012-13 season, but averaged 18.5 points, 7.6 assists and 4.0 reounds in his January return to the lineup.
