Warriors Andrew Bogut Declares Himself Healthy

Robb Cox/Getty Images(OAKLAND, Calif.) -- If the Golden State Warriors are healthy, they figure to be among the best teams in the Western Conference. Luckily, center Andrew Bogut feels great heading into the season.

Bogut has battled numerous injuries in recent seasons, limiting his ability to stay on the court in a productive manner.

But now, heading into the final year of his five-year, $60 million contract, Bogut is ready to hit the ground running.

"The most important thing is not having a trainer or coach tell you that there on restrictions on what you're doing. I can come in here and do what I want. I can come in here and run. I can condition. I can lift. I can shoot. I can play five-on-five and nobody can tell me I can only do one set or play 20 minutes. I have none of that right now and I'm not going to have any of that during the season."

A former number one overall pick, Bogut is still an upper-tier defensive center when he's able to stay healthy, and he's averaged 9.2 rebounds per game over his career.

He figures to be a big part of the team's plans this season along with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, and Andre Iguodala.
