Bowl Games Set for Semifinals in New Playoff Format

(Miami Gardens, FL)  -- 

When the college football playoff begins during the 2014 season, the Rose Bowl

and Sugar Bowl will be the host sites for the semifinal round of the four-team

playoff.  ESPN reports that the Cotton Bowl is the likely destination for

the championship game.  The contest will be played January 12th,

2015.  A selection committee will determine the four teams that

participate in the playoff.
