Reports: Wolves Agree to Deals With Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger

Christopher Trotman/Getty Images (NEW YORK) --  The Minnesota Timberwolves continued their busy offseason by agreeing to multiyear deals with guards Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger, according to reports.

Martin spent last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, but chose to give the Timberwolves a verbal commitment that he will sign a four-year deal in the $30 million range later this month.  He averaged 14 points off the bench for the Thunder, but could start in Minnesota.

Sources also say that the team will sign Budinger to a three-year, $16 million deal that includes a player option for the final season.  Budinger was limited to just 23 games last season with the Timberwolves due to a knee injury.  He averaged 9.4 points in those contests.

Teams and players can only reach verbal agreements until the league's annual moratorium on signings and trades is lifted July 10.
