NY Rangers Captain Ryan Callahan Out 10 To 14 Days

(NEW YORK) -- New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan will be sidelined for 10 to 14 days after injuring his shoulder in Tuesday night’s 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers, general manager Glen Sather announced Wednesday.

The 27-year-old Callahan suffered the injury during a tussle with Flyers forward Max Talbot in the third period. An MRI taken Wednesday revealed the forward has a subluxation in his left shoulder.

In six games this season for the Rangers, Callahan has two goals and no assists.
