Justin Tuck Knows His Time With the Giants Could Be Ending
(EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.) -- One of the best pass rushers in New York Giants history could be on his way out of town once the 2013 season is over. Justin Tuck admitted that Sunday could be his last game with the team as the Giants will most likely undergo a sort of rebuilding in the near future.
"I'll be a little teary-eyed after I walk off the field, maybe," Tuck said. "I won't say definitely, but maybe. It makes a better story if I say teary-eyed."
Tucks' contract is up following this season, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Tuck, 31, has 58.5 sacks during his nine seasons with the Giants, which ranks sixth all-time in franchise history. He also was a key member in two Super Bowl title teams during his tenure at the Giants.
This season, Tuck is having his best season since 2010. He's made 57 tackles with nine sacks.
