Jack Taylor scores 138 points for GrinnellGRINNELL, Iowa (AP) - The NCAA scoring record has been shattered tonight by a player from Division III Grinnell College.
Jack Taylor poured in 138 points to lead a 179-104 rout of Faith Baptist Bible, breaking the old mark of 113 set by Rio Grande's Bevo Francis in 1954.
Taylor hit 27 of his 71 three-point attempts and was 52-of-108 overall from the field. He also hit seven of his 10 free throws while playing 36 minutes.
