Four Quarterbacks -- Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel, Florida State's Jameis Winston, Northern Illinois' Jordan Lynch and Alabama's AJ McCarron -- as well as two running backs -- Auburn's Tre Mason and Boston College's Andre Williams -- have been invited to New York Saturday with a chance to win the award given to the top player in college football.

Last year, Manziel became the first freshman ever to win the award. He has a chance to repeat this year after throwing for 3,732 yards and 33 touchdowns while running for 686 yards and eight touchdowns.

Winston will look to become the second-straight freshman to win the award. The 6-foot-4 leader of the top-ranked Seminoles threw for 3,820 yards and 38 touchdowns, both freshman records.

Lynch threw for 2,676 yards and 23 touchdowns while also rushing for 1,881 yards and  22 touchdowns.

McCarron completed 67.6 percent of his passes throwing for 2,676 yards, 26 touchdowns and five  interceptions.

Mason, a junior, ran for 1,621 yards and 22 touchdowns to help lead the Tigers to the VIZIO BCS National Championship game.

Andre Williams ran for 2,102 yards, the first running back since 2008 to run for over 2,000 yards. He also rushed for 17 touchdowns.
