ESPN: Grizzlies Land Mike Miller

NBA via Miami Heat (MEMPHIS) -- After being amnestied by the Miami Heat, sharpshooter Mike Miller is walking in Memphis once more. According to sources, Miller has agreed to a two-year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, the team he played for from 2003-2008.

Despite him helping the Heat win back-to-back NBA championships, Miller was waived by the team using the amnesty provision.  It was a cost-cutting move that will save the Heat $17 million in luxury tax payments next season.

The 33-year-old averaged just 4.8 points in the regular season for the Heat, but started the last four games of the NBA finals while shooting 61 percent from 3-point range.

The Grizzlies have yet to announce the deal.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets were some of the other teams who were interested in signing Miller.
