NFL via Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- The Miami Dolphins big offseason has taken another turn as they have signed veteran tackle Tyson Clabo to a one-year contract, according to published media reports.

Clabo follows Mike Wallace, Dustin Keller, Brent Grimes, Dannell Ellerbe, and Dion Jordan, who have all joined the Dolphins this offseason.

"We made some big moves this offseason in free agency, and the draft looks like it went really well," Clabo said. "With the young QB with a lot of upside, I feel like we can make some noise."

Clabo was a Pro Bowler in 2012, but was still cut by the Atlanta Falcons earlier in the offseason due to the salary cap. The Falcons saved $4.5 million by cutting Clabo despite his high production. The 31-year-old Clabo has started in 101 straight games with the Falcons. But now he'll be protecting second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

In 2012, the Dolphins went 7-9, but still finished second in the AFC East division. The team hasn't made the playoffs since 2008.
