Cleveland Indians Fan Catches Four Foul Balls
(CLEVELAND) -- It was a spectacular day at Progressive Field for Greg Van Niel.
The long-time Cleveland Indians supporter caught four foul balls in his seats Sunday during the Indians' 6-4 win over the Kansas City Royals.
Van Niel is a season-ticket holder of the Indians, but he told ESPN that he wasn't sitting in his actual seats on Sunday.
"We weren't in our actual season ticket seats [Sunday]," Van Niel said. "We were one section over and it happened to be the lucky section."
Van Niel said he'd never caught a foul ball before Sunday, explaining he caught three of them while picking up the fourth. He kept the first three balls that he caught, but said he tossed the fourth one into the crowd because, "I had one for each of the kids that was with us."
