Brady Overcomes Boo's, Patriots Beat Dolphins

Jim Rogash/Getty Images(FOXBOROUGH, Mass.) -- The Patriots started off on the wrong foot, but turned things around in the second half in their 27-17 win over the Dolphins (3-4) on Sunday.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was booed as the team went back to the locker room after trailing 17-3 at halftime and then came out firing in the second half.

Brady answered with two touchdowns in a span of seven plays to tie the game up and Stephen Gostkowski's 48-yard field goal put them up for good as the third quarter ended.

"I know a lot of people are frustrated," Brady said, but "to be 6-2 is not bad."

Miami held the football for 34:59 of the game, but the New England defense stifled quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the second half.

"We really haven't played good in the third quarter, but we did today," Patriots coach Bill Belichick said. "Things weren't going our way in the first half. That was obvious, being booed at halftime."

The Patriots will host the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday.
