Art Briles Agrees to New 10-Year Deal with Baylor
(NEW YORK) -- Baylor Bears head coach Art Briles agreed to a new 10-year deal with the university on Wednesday.
Baylor regents approved the deal Wednesday, which goes through the 2023 season. The Dallas Morning News reports Briles will make more than $4 million next season.
Briles is 41-30 at Baylor and changed the team around upon his arrival in November 2007. Prior to Briles, the Bears had won three games or less in nine of their last 11 seasons.
The Bears (8-0) will take on Texas Tech (7-3) on Saturday at Cowboys Stadium.
