(13) Butler Edge (8) Gonzaga, 64-63 On Jones' Last Second Basket

(INDIANAPOLIS) -- Sophomore forward Roosevelt Jones hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer to give (13) Butler (13-2) a 64-63 victory over (8) Gonzaga (17-2). With 3.5 seconds left in the game, Jones stole the in-bound pass from junior guard David Stockton, son of NBA Hall of Famer John Stockton, and drove to the lane for the score.

Jones finished the game with a team-leading 20 points, five rebounds and four assists while teammate, freshman guard Kellen Dunham contributed 14 points.

Butler now has three wins against top 10 ranked opponents this season. It’s the first time in school history that they have achieved that feat.
