Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Bronx Expressway
(NEW YORK) -- A small plane made an emergency landing on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx, N.Y. on Saturday.
ABC's New York affiliate, WABC, reports that the plane was carrying three people when it was forced to land near Exit 13 on the northbound side of the highway in Van Cortlandt Park.
There were no fatalities in the landing, and WABC reports that the three people onboard suffered only minor injuries.
There was no immediate word as to what caused the emergency landing.
