Shooting Spree in Florida Leaves 3 Dead, 2 Injured
(LAKE BUTLER, Fla.) -- A gunman shot four men he worked with, killing two and wounding two, on Saturday.
He then shot and killed himself, CNN reports.
The shooter was identified as Hubert Allen Jr., 72.
The deceased victims are Allen's boss, Marvin Pritchett, 80, and Allen's former co-worker, Rolando Gonzalez-Delgado, 28.
Allen shot two more of his former colleagues, David Griffis, 44, and Lewis Mabrey Jr., 68. Griffis was shot in the stomach and is in critical condition. Mabrey, hit in the arm and side, is in good condition.
According to CNN, the gunman had retired from Pritchett's company, Pritchett Trucking Inc., but had an argument with Pritchett earlier in the week.
Most of the shootings took place near Lake Butler, Fla. After shooting the four men, Allen went to his home where he shot himself.
Police say they believe Allen acted alone, CNN reports. Officials are still investigating the crimes.
