Nine Men Struck by Lightning in Georgia
(COBB COUNTY, Ga.) -- Lightning hit nine men working on a home in Cobb County, Georgia on Friday.
There were severe thunderstorm warnings in the area at the time.
Powder Springs Police Lt. Grady Bagley says the men had huddled in a house as the storm rolled in, but the home had no roof and the lightning hit the frame of the house.
Bagley says three people were hospitalized, including one man with serious injuries. The others were treated at the scene and released.
