Girl Hospitalized After Falling from Zip Line at Texas Festival
(FRISCO, Texas) -- A girl fell about 20 feet to the ground from a zip line at the annual Freedom Fest in North Texas on Friday.
The victim, an eight-year-old, is listed in stable condition.
Festivalgoer Melissa Bradbury said, "All of a sudden I heard a commotion behind me and I turned around and people were just rushing to the zip line."
She added, "Paramedics were rushing in. The police department, the fire department. Everybody was kind of running around in a mad scramble to get to her."
The accident remains under investigation.
