Two Sunday Night Games Announced

(St. Louis, MO) 

--  The Cardinals were selected for a pair of ESPN Sunday Night Baseball

telecasts in the first half of the season.  Both are on the road. They

will play the Philadelphia Phillies on April 21st and the Chicago Cubs on July

14th. That's the final game of the first half of the season heading into the

All-Star break.

In other Cardinals news, four pitchers along with key position player David

Freese filed for salary arbitration Tuesday.  The four pitchers are

Mitchell Boggs, Jason Motte, Edward Mujica and Marc Rzepczynski.  The Cardinals must reach new contracts with the players

or go to arbitration with them.
