South Central Upsets Odin in Regional
The South Central Cougars have been on a tear as of late,and they carried that momentum into the Woodlawn Regional, defeating Odin
43-34. The game was close until the fourth quarter, when Odin sent the Cougars
to the foul line twelve times. South Central went nine-for-twelve in the fourth
quarter and 13-of-17 for the game from the free throw line. Fischer Tharp followed
up his 43-point performance in the regular season finale triple-overtime loss
to North Clay Friday night with 25 points in the win over the Eagles. South
Central is now 11-17 and advances to play top-seed and regional host Woodlawn at
6pm Wednesday night. Dustin Quick led Odin with twelve points as the Eagles end
their season at 16-11.
