Sandoval Ladies Win MTC

The Sandoval Lady Hawks are the champions of the MTC tournament.  The Lady Hawks took the title with a 53-42 win over North Clay on Saturday.  Several of the ladies were individually honored at the tournament.  Sophomore Bethany Kunick and seniors Rachel Finley and Kristin Perkins were named to the all-tournament team, with Perkins named the tournament MVP.  The Lady Hawks were led in scoring at the tournament by Kylie Parson's 27 points.  The wins raise Sandoval's record to 10-6.  They'll be back in action Tuesday at their own tournament.  The Sandoval Invitational begins Monday.
