The Salem Boys’ basketball team returns to action

tonight as they continue their road-warrior mentality. Tonight, that road takes

the Cats to Charleston to face the Trojans.

Salem earned their third victory last Friday night

at Paris, and was a minute and a half away from their fourth victory on

Saturday, but the Wildcats couldn’t hold a six point lead in a loss to

Greenville at the Pinckneyville Shoot Out.

Salem only has three wins, but they have all come in

the Apollo Conference, where the Cats sit at 3-3 in the middle of the pack.

After tonight’s game, the Wildcats are idle until

next Friday when Salem will host Mattoon for Senior Night.
