Salem Recreation Basketball "A" League Opens Up TournamentSALEM - The Salem Community Activities Center was jumping on Wednesday night as the Men's "A" League Basketball Tournament began.
In the opener, Bub's Pub routed Team Nazarene 90-40. Gabe King had 20 points in the win and Troy Williams chipped in 15 in the loss for Nazarene.
Schmidt Ford upended No Limit 85-53 behind a balanced scoring attack. Jaron Lusch had 15 points in the win, Myron Cunningham poured in 18 in the loss.
Vince Mack put on a show with 41 points as his Bad News team defeated Bella Chez 103-77. Gavin Wood had 28 points in the losing effort.
In the final game of the night, Long Shots got 27 from Derek Casnell to defeat Southern Illinois by the final of 74-61. In the loss, Leyton Godoya had 18 points.
