Little League Majors Championship
People's Bank Dodgers defeat Minor League Mets 9-8. Weston McGhee earned the win for the Dodgers as he and Nicholas Hess split duties on the hill. McGhee went 3-3 at the plate. Nick Back pitched a complete game for the Mets and suffered the loss. Levi Hayes had a pair of home runs to lead Minor League offensively.
Girls 12u Championship
Radiac defeated Rural King 6-5. Haley Phillips was the winning pitcher. Sada Graham drove in Layla Word in the top of the second inning to put Radiac ahead. But Rural King answered back with two runs as Makenzie Martin and Ashlyn Donoho both had RBI doubles. Radiac wouldn't trail for long as the visitors posted four runs in the third inning when Word and Caitie Abrams each added RBIs in the frame. Not to be outdone, Rural King tied the game in the third as Lexi Sadreich brought in a run. The game-winning run for Radiac occured in the fifth inning when Elizabeth Long belted a one-run triple. Radiac finishes the season 14-4.
