SIT Pairings Released
The Salem Invitational Tournament Bracket has beenreleased and the host Wildcats have drawn rival Centralia to close out first
round play on Jan. 17th.
The Tournament will begin Wednesday, January 16 when two area powerhouses,
Effingham and Mt Vernon, face off. After that game, tournament favorite and
top-seed Edwardsville takes on Mattoon.
Triad and Marion will tip off ahead of Salem/Centralia contest the next night.
The Wildcats of Salem will be tested with their final tune-ups before next
week's tournament as they host Effingham on Friday night and have a make-up
game with Mascoutah on Saturday.
