Plahm, Wildcats in Fifth Place
The Salem Boys Bowling team is in fifth place overall at theState Bowling Tournament in O’Fallon. The Alley Cats are just 165 pins behind
first-place Minooka. O’Fallon and Belleville East are second and fourth,
respectively, while the Centralia Orphans sit just outside the top ten in eleventh-place
as a team. Dylan Plahm is pacing the Alley Cats after the first day of the
tournament with 1,409 total pins in six games, good for an average just under
235. Plahm is in fifth place individually, 89 pins behind the leader. Centralia’s
Justin Sliger is in a tie for 18th place. The state bowling
tournament continues today.
