Patoka Turns Back Brownstown
Johnnie Clift poured in 28 points as the Patoka Warriors defeatedBrownstown last night 64-49.
The two teams played pretty close throughout the game, with
the Warriors leading 15-14 after the first quarter and 32-27 at halftime.
Patoka kept putting distance between them and the visiting Bombers. Free throws
in the fourth quarter made a difference as the Warriors got to the line
thirteen times, hitting on nine of those attempts to stay out of reach of
Brownstown.
Jake Orrell added eleven points for Patoka, who improves to
17-10 overall following the non-conference game.
