Patoka Turns Back Brownstown

Johnnie Clift poured in 28 points as the Patoka Warriors defeated

Brownstown last night 64-49.

The two teams played pretty close throughout the game, with

the Warriors leading 15-14 after the first quarter and 32-27 at halftime.

Patoka kept putting distance between them and the visiting Bombers. Free throws

in the fourth quarter made a difference as the Warriors got to the line

thirteen times, hitting on nine of those attempts to stay out of reach of

Brownstown.

Jake Orrell added eleven points for Patoka, who improves to

17-10 overall following the non-conference game.
