Kaskaskia College Women's Soccer Team Advances To Regional Championship

The Kaskaskia College Blue Angels Soccer Team has advanced to the Region 24 Championship Match. KC advanced with a four to one victory in the semi finals via a penalty kick shootout. Shootout goals were scored by Emma Zion, Kylie Seyer, Marissa Burroughs and Morgan Musoiu. Alison Koerkenmeier made a save in the shootout. Kaskaskia's Chelsey Henrichs also scored a goal in the game, assisted by Miranda Burroughs.

The Kaskaskia College Blue Angels cross country team will compete in the NJCAA Regional 24 meet Friday at the Rend Lake Golf Course. The Region 24 meet will consist of Danville College, Illinois Central College of Peoria, Rend Lake College, Lincoln College, and Spoon College in addition to Kaskaskia. Rend Lake will host the NJCAA Nationals on November 10th which will feature D1 community colleges from across the nation.
