Junior High Roundup...Lady Bobcats Nip Carlyle
(SANDOVAL) - Sandoval dropped a close game Tuesday night as they played host to St. Rose 47-34. The Jr Blackhawks led from the beginning and went into halftime with a 26-20 lead.St Rose fought back taking a 33-32 lead starting the 4th quarter. The Hawks regained the lead for a short time, but St Rose sealed the game late.
Sandoval will host rival Odin Thursday for the Jr Blackhawks 2nd annual Silent Night Game.
- Eric Schoonover scored 25 points as Odin defeated Raccoon 48-38.
Salem's JV continued their good season with a 45-18 win. Kaitlyn Maxey and Emma Bunnell each scored a dozen and Trinity Meadows put in 10 points and had 4 steals. Hailey Wimberly had an overall solid game with 6 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals and Reagan Conklin pulled down 5 rebounds.
Salem will play Thursday night at Raccoon.
- The Selmaville Lady Rockets defeated Bethel 58-20 behind 18 points from Keagan Johnson. Selmaville is 11-5.
