Junior Eagles Come Back to Wop North Clay

The Odin Junior Eagles battled back twice to claim a 10-9 win over North Clay Tuesday.

Odin trailed 5-2 in the sixth inning but tied the game on a single by Kyle Arnold. The Eagles saw the deficit grow in the seventh inning when North Clay added four runs. But three walks, two hits, and a sacrifice bunt tied the game before Arnold came through again. The fifth-grader picked up his second career hit, a walk-off single that drove in Austin Dodson.

Dylan Friend and Drake Hoagland added two hits each. Bryson Smith and Dodson each had a hit and two runs batted in.

The Eagles are 10-4 on the season and host Brownstown Monday.
