Cougars Bounced from NTC Tourney

The South Central Cougars scored no more than eight points

in a quarter in their 56-23 loss to Effingham St. Anthony Friday night. The

loss eliminates the Cougars from the NTC Tournament. South Central trailed 11-8

after the first quarter, but then St. Anthony jumped out to a 27-11 halftime

lead. Rudy Hablewitz was the only Cougar in double figures, scoring 13 points.

South Central is now 5-15 overall and will travel to Brownstown on Tuesday.
