Chicago Bears Trim Roster to 53LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - The Chicago Bears have waived injured safety Brandon Hardin and parted ways with four other players while trimming their active roster to 53 players Saturday.
A third-round pick last year, Hardin left Thursday night's final preseason game against Cleveland.
The Bears also waived linebacker J.T. Thomas and receiver Terrence Toliver and reached injury settlements with defensive tackle Corvey Irvin and offensive tackle Cory Brandon.
