Centralia High Boys Golf Team Headed To State

The Centralia High School boys golf team is headed to state.  Centralia won the Boys 2A Sectional Golf Tournament hosted by Salem High School at the Salem Country Club on Saturday to advance.   

Meanwhile, two Salem golfers qualified as individuals.  Joe Tolliver and Sam Beavin both shot a 76, the cut score to advance to state.  

Centralia won the tournament with 311 points.  Springfield High School was second with 317 points and Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin finished third with 320 points.  

The Centralia Golf Team was led by Jace Swartzlander, who shot a 72.  Tyler McDaniel shot a 75, Matt Dobbs an 80 and Brandon Middleton, Mason McReaken and Miles Burns all shot 84's.
