Central City and Patoka Into St Theresa Finals(ST THERESA) - Central City and Patoka have set up a showdown for the 29th St Theresa Thanksgiving Tournament championship after wins in Saturday's semifinals.
Jakob Schuck had 17 points and Nathan Thomas added a dozen more in the Citians tough 37-25 win over Altamont Lutheran. Jesus Flores led Altamont with 7.
Patoka cruised to an easy 52-31 win over Odin. Jered Cain was dominant with 33 points and Garrett Belcher put in 12. Eric Schoonover was top scorer for Odin with 19.
Kell advanced to the consolation championship with their 57-27 win over St Peter Lutheran. Brock Smith had 18 and Jakob Hocking and Brandon Dodson 10 apiece for Kell. St Peter got 15 from Caleb Harpster and 12 from Hunter Brandt.
The St Theresa Rascals will play for the consolation title too after their 39-25 win over Hoffman Trinity behind 11 points from Lizzy Kingery.
Monday night's slate of games begins with the 7th place game between St Peter and Hoffman Trinity at 6:30 followed by the Consolation championship between Kell and St Theresa.
On Tuesday, Altamont Lutheran takes on Odin for 3rd, followed by Central City and Patoka in the tournament finale.
