Blues GM Given Extension

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The St. Louis Blues

have signed general manager Doug Armstrong to a five-year contract extension.

Armstrong

was named NHL general manager of the year last season after the team won its

first Central Division title since 2000 and tied for the second-best point

total in the league.
